Depends on the book. If the story is good, I'll enjoy it. (I liked the Original Dune run, not post-Herbert death.) But getting upset over a characters death is dumb. The only sections I've skipped over are romance parts. I've skipped over action parts that drag. I cannot imagine how fucked your brain must be to get upset over something that isn't real.
