I still don't get the hype for the series. It's so incredibly generic and barebone moege. And I am a moege only reader. Not even the humor is good, though there is barely any. Honestly, I take any Yuzu Soft, Saga Planets, tone work's or Asa Project ge any time of day over reading Amakano again. At least those try spicing things up. Doesn't help that the Amakano art gets worse and worse with each installment. Only liked the fat heroine in the first Amakano.
