Trading amongst prog players is fine, trading with other players is not fine otherwise you can skirt too many prog rules. But as long as you don't show up one day with chaos gloves, BDS staff, and obsidian armor etc... and you're following the general spirit of the ironman prog it doesn't bother me. Likewise you can use anything you get out of the GotT you farm (so if you get moss spider egg, bo staff, icy dragon sword, honeycomb, you are allowed to keep and use them). But I'm not encouraging con use because the fun is the struggle. Nobody is going to remember how we beat rotscale first try, but people will remember the rotscale where it came down to the final 2 people in our party soloing rotscale for 5 minutes.
