also, due to a recent update to the "ticks" mechanic, the same one that made firemaking even more tedious, it's no longer possible to reroll a mining attempt by clicking the rock again. in runite mining where this actually matters, i alch the air staves to force a reroll (your character is mining during the alch animation and it's possible for both animations to appear at the same time). been doing this grind for quite a while before worlds came out, btw.
