tbf everyone wants to dissociate the original tale with their own (overcomplicated sometimes) version of the character, it would have happened one way or another just like how every cartoon creepypasta existed but all the tropes started getting associated with squidward's suicide, but it's just the shitty game it originally had and the shitty creator of it making it really bad.
