Mmh I wonder though. This is literally right next my home and I spend here quite a lot of time. Where you can see the grass it grew up right away, the rest has been like this all the time, I even tried to take out the soil and put it back to no avail. It's strange, because the area right next to the kiln had grass but when I took out the soil and put it back it never grew back. At first I thought it could be the sand under the soil so I took that out to from where there was sand, but still it doesn't grow. I'll try to change more blocks.
