ok.

>i would like to train my pets
there are basically three kinds of of pets.
-physical dps (Bow/Bowgun, OHS if you're insane but everyone will tell you to use bows btw. I am insane. Do not do what I do.)
-magical dps (Staff, Device)
-Support (Literally anything. It doesn't matter because it's gonna be Timid/Gentle and not attacking.)

if you want the pet for proration, go magical dps because it never misses (counts as normal despite the name?). Physical can miss but phys builds do run DEX (bows) to alleviate this. Do not fucking use 2HS/Knux.

Patterns are percentages. %. A lower % is lower damage, but faster attack animations, so you'd look up the pet damage pattern charts and pick from there.
https://toramonline.com/index.php?threads/pet-attack-patterns-chart.45048/

Lower % means it spams out attacks faster over time, but damage is lower. Also, the % is added onto it's base 100% like a player, so pattern 100% does 200% damage. A monster attacking with pattern 300 would do 400% damage with that animation.

>deals deadly damage
At this point you either decide if you're going raging blow (physical bowguns) or Magic Lance (magical staff/MD). Doing this means putting proration kind of on the backburner because your pet is going to be dropping fucking -BOMBS-.

REQUIREMENTS FOR DOING DEADLY DAMAGE???
Okay, first of all you need Skill #24 no matter what, MP Gain. There's no way around this, it enables the fuck out of the next skill. Your other guaranteed skill has to be Raging Blow or Magic Lance and they need to be lv10. Ok how level? First of all if they're not lv5/4, at WORST 3 (3 will hurt) then try again. Then make sure they also have a buff skill (inherit it onto them). Then go mob on a cliff near Sofya.
