Okay thanks for reminding me. Ok so with level up stats what you do is dump your allocatable points into the main stat as much as you can. What will happen is you will eventually hit 255 VIT but the pet will continue to gain stats past 255. This is a part of strong pet raising.

Where you put the stat depends on what it's nature actually is. If it's gentle, it'll never hit anything anyways, and Timid won't ever get close enough either. However, DEX does raise Casting Speed on pets as I recall, and the way casting speed works on pets is that they have a "silent cooldown" between casts that DEX supposedly reduces. They don't actually channel shit. This is sorta hearsay though.

But yes if he's capable of slapping shit then DEX his ass. Otherwise it's pretty ???? but DEX him anyways because of casting speed. STR is a trap stat on pets because they'll just miss all the time and do 0 damage.
