funny you should mention d3. I was playing it the other night and the input there is very smooth, by comparison d4 does feel janky and even laggy.

hard disagree. Besides, what you're suggesting is limiting how players wantto play. Not only that but multiple inputs at the same time do not force you to "mush dumb combinations of buttons". You can click your skills with delays, you do you, but dictating a playstyle in an aRPG is very malicious. Stop it my man.
and fun fact the inputs are messed up either way, if you tried to play whirlwind barb on a controller vs mk/b you'd know d4 would register whirlwind hits with a joystick button firmly held all the time when on a mouse you had to do 'dumb' clicking because holding the attack didn't yield the same effect.
