Pretty much. If your build is decent enough you can do lower wave hordes as long as you still hit the 666 aether.
Either that or farm nightmare dungeons with the chaos rift affix. You can get a lot of rep and warp from those, buy the scrolls from the season bitch and you get lots of infernal caches.
