I think the hardest part of decorating is there's almost always someone coming in and shitting it up, blowing it up, or setting a fire during highpop. On the other hand during highpop I often only get halfway through before shuttle is called. There's the few players who help with materials/deconstruction or help fix when that happens (ykwya and its very appreciated). But many players can't be patient and come back later or resist destroying it. Every now and then it's fine and a funny gimmick. I have a rule to allow it if its interesting/funny for that reason. But there's been a few nights where its 4 rounds in a row and always the same people. I've thought about ahelping for griefing but I don't think its worth it or will change anything considering an ooc reason. So, I've been using lowpop times to learn new things to try and make it faster and more interesting.
However, this is a big reason new players like myself seem to get turned away from the server. There's no real etiquette or respect for nonantag civilian roles.
