It doesn't need to be popular, but you need a playerbase. Hedging your bets on the front page was the simplest way to do it. Most games suck without another person in the server, and good luck trying to get one in there if the count is at zero. I don't know, I was just outing frustrations on a supposed update which is just a flag made of particles and reused meteors themed around it. When there are thousands of games whose updates actually add more substance to an already established loop of gaming, rather than a new fucking piece of shit trash modifier on your new character that just adds more money.
