Well the whole reason they made the paragon300 curve like they did was to "make it aspirational", since leveling to 100 was "too easy" and then "there is nothing left to do". I think they made it intentionally overly grindy to get to 300 to stop the complaints/cater to the streamers. If the boss XP > pit completion XP, I'm sure it's a glitch that will be corrected before season starts. Doesn't follow the established pattern to leave it in like that.

When the Horn of Trials existed, you got a little symbol next to your portrait in the friends/clan menu. Maybe that sort of thing will make a return, especially since they already have that coded in somewhere.

People who have time to grind the game and streamers will be fine with this-- and maybe that's how it should be idk. There are 5 possible sanctification outcomes, the best one being "apply a bonus legendary power". Of the codex of legendary powers (about 100 different powers), maybe a generous 10 are actually somewhat useful to your build. So we are talking about a 10% chance on top of a 20% chance (if things are weighted evenly in the anvil), so do the math on how many extra pieces of gear you need to hit the statistical probability of getting that one useful reward. And then I guess do the math on how often a useful piece of gear drops with the right affixes and ancestral. It's just going to be extra-grindy is all. High work yields high rewards.
"Toughness": devs should lay out exactly what the metrics are on that. It wouldn't altogether be an annoying change if only it was clarified.
