osrs suffers from retaining the original mechanical base and yet trying to expand it's content, though. i'd think sailing will make this very explicit, because it's not just geographical/lore retardation like the distance between crandor and virtually every other new island, it's also too mechanically distinct from how the rest of the game operates.

on the subject of this server, i don't think anyone cares about the "many authentic BA bugs not being present", for example. the content is still the same, but more functional mechanically - i just wish this retroactively applied to other things like being able to obtain 2 of each holiday item to use as bank placeholders. i could argue some rs3/osrs changes aren't terrible either, like not making woodcutting into a competition (it's a mmo where 99% of the content is actively anti-social except for retard-tier often hardcoded nonsense), but that's better off for a 'non-pseudo-authentic' fork of this that retains the content, but adjusts the mechanics to be consistent across the board, something gowers were and still are incapable of.

i get i could bring these up in yet another retarded suggestion 'bug report' but i can't effectively judge if it won't start coming off as annoying.
