It could be that. It's actually very likely that those in charge despise "a gamer" that plays D4 and the fact they dare criticize what they do. It could also be the case that people with meaningful ideas, that could transform this game into leader of this genre, are in minority. Or even worse scenario, they are incapable of taking good feedback or outright copy solutions from other aRPGs. I don't know which variant is the worst. But the likes that transformer guy Aislyn, Art Peshkov (a level designer for D3 btw) represent a certain mentality that drags the game down seriously.

Seriously, get some people from Diablo Immortal on D4, because they certainly know what people want. They churn out good content, and even the stuff that's free is much better than anything "free" in a full priced game. Just like PoE guys know their target audience, those guys over at D:I at least are capable of making reasonably good content. I wonder if getting John Yang from D3 team way back is any indicator of turning a new page, one can hope. He's supposedly a Design Director for Systems, so we can make of that what we will.
