I've only looked at jackhammers stats and never used him but based on his stats, that omni range + weaken duration are the main selling point, his slow attack rate / low damage makes his damage output vs metal and zkill more a bonus, making him look more like a support unit you'll use to apply weaken on enemy crowds, but his hp is nice. you definitely want a different unit as attacker paired with him though.
