Difference being that that's a over ten years old age that also didn't act like a bootleg visual novel.
More to the point, this could and should have the chance to flesh out those underveloped characters, and instead they decided to create a bunch of new donut steels who just love to hear themselves talk and stopping you from playing the game every five minutes without saying or doing anything of value themselves.
