I'm extremely late to the party, but what the others wrote about the FAQ being loose guidelines rather than hard and fast rules was quite correct. Happy to see you press on with your idea.

I did notice Lucarioanon's comment before I started reading this. I know he said he was probably just being biased, but I actually do see his point about telling and not showing. We don't see Kartanon losing it - he just says that he is. We don't see Kartanon discovering flight - he just says that it's better than nothing (kind of an underwhelming reaction all told). We don't see Kartanon attempt to speak only for it to come out backwards - he just says that that's what happens. On the contrary, Kartanon, don't spare us the spiel at all. I WANT to go on your journey with you, rather than just having it recounted - self-discovery is a big part of this thread. I WANT to decipher a backwards sentence and feel the same befuddlement that you did. I WANT to go flying with you your first time. I WANT to see more of you getting stuck in every crack and crevice. Sharing the novelty (for good and for bad) of your new life with you is where the fun of this entire premise lies.

You also might wanna consider looking up a few synonyms for "odd".

>Maybe I should try taking a picture of myself laying on my desk and post it in that 1 /po/ thread,
See this is the stuff that's intriguing - teasing us with stuff Kartanon might do, or that serves to build the wider world.

The fact that you're adding your own art to your green is just awesome, and has the potential to really elevate the thread to new heights - so much extra life that you can add to your story. Those that could art AND green were basically royalty back in the old /mlp/ CYOA days.

With regards the blue thing, getting the audience to wonder about that would've been fine as a setup to pay off later.

Admittedly got a chuckle out of me.
