The Squall is dead thing is just stupid, even stupider are people who actually believe it instead of seeing it as a piss take. Yes, sure, Squaresoft made a game where secretly at about the 10-20% mark your main character dies and the entire rest of the game you are actually just in a death coma where nothing will ultimately matter anyway.

>It gives you more abilities to use with more strategies and setups.
First of all, it doesn't help when you still can just use the same strategy of generally just mash attack as before. Second, who the hell treats every random encounter as a boss fight that they have to slowly strategize? It's a random encounter, other than the occasional trick enemy they are just fodder getting in your way.
>Oh you mean like Materia was also never used again?
Materia was not much different from the general "Equip something to gain an ability then level it up" mechanic, FF9 had this with the AP system
>They tell you the fucking ruleset before you start a game, you can just say no.
1. Unless you knew the rule would fuck you over ahead of time you would have just said yes, because you was constantly getting new rules
2. Doesn't change the fact that the rule should have never gotten past playtesting
>More crying
Yeah I know, there is more crying from you. It's rather pathetic, they really aught to enforce the 18+ rule around here to keep zoomies like you out.
