Do you think Fei Long is a joke Bruce Lee? The Laws are obviously cheeky but I never got that from Fei.
Also Ryu/Goku comparisons are apt though I find Ryu less annoying, one trope I hate in anime is "silly manchild who eats ALL THE TIME but gets serious when it comes to winning"
