That's genuinely the biggest advantage Harbormasters has over recomp at this point, their stuff works on much lower spec machines and so can be played on a wider variety of shit beyond just being 'PC ports'. This is a big thing they ought to be pushing if they want to stay relevant, however they don't seem to care about making their stuff work on older operating systems and so this is actually barely relevant in practice. They could probably make their stuff build for Windows 7/XP or more barebones Linux distro versions, but they just consider that 'obsolete' and I don't even think they make builds for Mac anymore and have just been dropping support for things left and right.
It's sad, there could be an actual point to it all, but they don't seem to have a plan or direction beyond vaguely implying they'll do nondescript stuff "eventually".
