No it isn't. If I want a picture for a purpose, I don't give a shit about whether it contains the depths of the artist's tortured soul. I care about whether or not it looks good. I will take AI art that somebody's put the time into retrying until it looks right over a low-quality drawing no matter how many hours you sank into said drawing.
Now if you're going to generate the whole thing bottom to top, then it's probably going to be shit, but if you're using it to cover a couple parts of the process you suck at then it's fine.
