I had more fun playing wizardry 1-2-3 on snes than other mainstream rpg.
Drawing a map on paper is part of the fun.
Without wizardry modern rpg will not exist.
I'l try the 4th wizardry this winter on my ps1.
If you like the genre i recommend
- "dragon crystal" on master system,
-"fatal labyrinth" on megadrive
- "bard's tale" on nes (a really long and grindingly roguelike)
- and the so cute and casual but incredible "cave noire" on gameboy.
