i'd argue that the 2010s were okay if you ignored the terminally online and actually went outside once in a while but the 2020s is when things started getting worse imo because being terminally online and other jobless behaviors got more normalized and it's when the results of dodge vs ford (the case where shareholders have all the power in corporate decisions) really started affecting people the most.
