Thanks you for your attention on this matter. Let's take each unit and list, or at least try to list, all of their overpowered features.
SCV:
1. 50% more hp than other workers. The reason given is the terranny building mechanic, i.e. terrannies are simply entitled to both cheesing and defending against cheese. Workers are SUPPOSED to die when you're caught attempting a bunker rush, proxy stuff, etc., and they're supposed to die when you fail to hold a rush. Should Z drones cost 50% less since they turn into buildings? Should P buildings build 50% faster since the worker leaves the building immediately? NO. Perhaps the single MOST shameless terranny feature.
2. Implicit repair. Considering 1, why would the terranny worker ALSO have an implicit ability?
3. Can repair each other for free forever. Considering 1 and 2, why would the terranny workers ALSO be able to repair each other?
4. Can repair buildings for free forever. Considering 1, 2, and 3, why would terranny workers ALSO be able to repair buildings, which can also implicitly fly forever?
5. Can repair all mechanical units for free forever. Considering 1, 2, 3, and 4, why would terranny workers ALSO be able to repair mechanical units?
6. Repair rate increases with SCV count. Considering 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, why would terranny workers ALSO be able to repair even faster?
7. Can also be healed by medics. Considering 2, why would terranny workers ALSO be healed?
Common retarded points:
Objection: It has range and speed issues making it less effective in worker vs. worker fights.
Answer: Considering all of the above, why SHOULD the terranny worker ALSO be good at worker vs. worker fights? A minor part of the game, and one that, again, is only relevant when it comes to cheesing and being cheesed which, as demonstrated above, is not an issue for terrannies, quite the contrary, in fact.
Conclusion:
The SCV is extremely overpowered.
