It's also dumb how half their masteries give them bonuses for being in an elevated position but they don't have access to the flight gene despite having wings. I guess that would be kinda broken though

99% sure that's the case. It's worth taming one anyways since one of the masteries you unlock by taming them is good for sleep builds.
