Natural selection. Indies do not have PR agents to stop them from making little lore drops and such. Their having no guardrails means unless they are naturally perfectly piloted, they will have more yabs and drama bullshit than Cover will over time.
I remember, Ame had eventually drifted away from Gura for a while as well before graduating. The sabadoob thing seems nice and cute now but who knows how long until doob does doob deeds and it do be like that, friendship over (again). There is no guarantee if their drifting apart again either, it just seems likely given there is nobody to stop it.
