if you like battle shonens, yeah, it's the kind of show that stands more by being cool than anything else, I prefer the anime in that regard, since there's the voice acting, OST, OP/EDs and stuff, depends on your preference though

you can also skip the filler arcs, the first two filler arcs are quite boring, the other two are better watched after you finish if you want to, second and third filler arcs break continuity, the first and the fourth one don't, there's some guides on watching it

the last arc of the first anime is just really awkward for various reasons, if you do want to continue watch it though

i didn't watch the anime of the new arcs, just read the manga
