To be fair, that's what 99% of zatsudan streamers do. Even Subaru frequently exaggerates her stories.
That's not bad in itself, they are entertainers, so increasing the dramatization of a story is for the sake of making it more entertaining.
It's only weird when the exaggerated aspects are there only to make the host look better over others.
