The only proof it did is from their own mouths and they were the ones lying about how VShojo was a great deal and so on and so forth for so long even though they were supposedly never paid for any merch run. For all we know they were offered a chunk of the money their fans paid for merch they never inteded to manufacture in exchange for their silence.
