Yeah, I agree their product development/marketing needs serious work, but they're a JP company and Japanese otakus love buying overpriced shit like this. Important to remember this is the same culture where idol otaku will purchase multiples of trash music CDs so their oshi can get more "votes" in the rankings. Hoping for them to treat their customers with respect and not abusing their love of their favorite idols is a lost cause.
