The Selen Shock
-- At this point, it was clear that some really bad shit was going on behind the scenes with management.
-- The top girl was Selen, although her ccv had been slumped recently as she had been massively depressed and barely trying.
-- Finally management pushed her too far by blocking her christmas cover, and she snapped. After "vanishing" her for a few weeks, and editing her out of official artworks, they fired her.
-- She redebuted to a massive audience wondering what the hell just happened. She explained that she had a suicide attempt due to being the target of a bullying campaign by other members.
-- Later during one of her first gameplay streams, Nijisanji struck back. They did the infamous "blackscreen stream" timed to directly overlap Doki's stream. In this stream, it was revealed that Doki was suing NijiEN, and had named Enna, Millie, and Elira as her bullies.
-- They dropped screenshots showing that Doki had violated a management order. But this was beside the point. Clearly management and their absurd rules were a problem, and they did nothing about the bullying. In fact the whole video looked like another vicious and petty attack against her, even after she tried to leave the company.
-- This caused public opinion to turn radically against NijiEN. They all went on haitus for a month. When they came back, their audience was a tiny shell of what it was before.

The Parade year
-- Ironically, this year was planned to be a massive fanfare for NijiEN. Tons of events, 3D debuts, AR Live, the corporation was giving them everything they ever asked for.
-- Nobody watched it. Extremely low numbers, money down the toilet. Elira constantly bragged about all the stuff she was getting though, like she was mocking the people who left.
-- The new waves were tremendous disappointments. Absolutely flops, getting low 3view numbers. Numerous members graduated as fast as possible.
-- In late 2024, Ike randomly blocked Ethyria on twitter. Nobody knows why. But the very next year he vanished without a trace. Not just graduated, vanished completely. Channel wiped.
-- Also in late 2024, one of the new hires Twisty had logs drop alleging she had been sexually harassed by one of the males, Aster. This created another huge dramastorm.
-- NijiEN's policy now? Minimize drama at all costs. Rather than firing Twisty or Aster, they just suspended them for 8 months, and then quietly fired them the next year.

The die-off
-- In 2025, people just started leaving. Graduation, after graduation, after graduation.
-- Now over half the girls hired have graduated. Soon there will be more in the graveyard than active talents.
-- The BTB wave dropped, announced at Nijifes in Japanese. All gay men, in Luxiem clone outfits. They seemed to be a "clean slate" departure from the old branch, and focused mostly on Asia. This signalled the future of the branch.
-- The final members are now being strongly encouraged to move to Japan. A dozen have made the move. It seems NijiEN will be focused more on Japan.
