dq1-2 play the snes if you can or just wait for the HD remakes
dq3 snes or the hd remake for qol and shit
dq4-6 ds
dq7 3ds unless you like 3+hours of world building before your first fight and lots of other world padding stuff
dq8 gc has the better soundtrack but the 3DS has some nice qol and more bonus content
