Don't listen to that retard, whilst yes, sitting for prolonged periods has many side effects including deep vein thrombosis(formation of blood clots in the legs) you don't need to exercise or move for half the day. Just taking a 5-10 minute walking break is good enough, though more would help. But this is far better imo than sitting for 8 hours then going on a 1 hour walk due to the frequency of aerobic movement.
