It depends on which corpo. Some corpos make their talents pay in advance, others have premade ones but they can't do anything with it, then there are others where the model is just broken in some way (i.e. Gura's rigging or Irys v1) and they wouldn't get funding to fix it but rather they have to fund themselves. Either way it's like picking between slowly dying from a poison or a venom with these corpos.
