i get not agreeing with what he said and thinking it was hypocritical but he's a young dumb mentally ill guy who (at least used to) easily crumbles to and becomes influenced by criticism of him and he can say dumb stuff in the moment so holding such a long grudge towards him for it instead of just ignoring him is deranged to me
