Most vtubers just want to stream, but the bigger you get, the more off-stream things you have to manage. And for small streamers, it's becoming increasingly more difficult to get noticed in a saturated market.
So yes, at the right conditions there's still value in joining a corpo. The real issue is that corpos seems incapable of not dropping the ball lately.
