I don't think that would be it. If much it's the other way around, nobody wants to do a reenactment of dumb and dumber ruining it for the whole branch.
I doubt there would be any graduation or announcement before the concert. Now, depending on the success of the concert, right after would be a good moment, to leave on a high note with a "mission accomplished" feeling
