Somehow there's a global cull but JPs are completely unaffected. Explain how this would happen. Does the cull hate only Americans? How would they know who is American and who isn't? It makes more sense that there is no cull, it is just the audience for bad vtubers going away.
Meanwhile you have some NijiENs like Meloco who are also doing fine. Maybe people should just realize that the EN tourist audience is finally fucking off and now they only want to watch people who actually understand what vtubing is all about instead of just e-girl streamers with avatars.
