I think if Gen3 never quit, kawaii would probably be sitting at the ChromaShift level. They never had the it factor. Idol EN had it for a few months there were it looked like they were gonna solidly pass Phase Connect after Rin & Yuko got algo'd and then a very strong Gen2 debut
but at the end of the day, being at ChromaShift level that is probably enough isn't it? Join a corpo to get started, maybe you get to travel to do 3D concerts, do convention circuits, maybe you get lucky and get a playbutton, make some money and friends along the way, collab with your oshis. If you can do that then what more are you hoping to get out of this? those are the ultimate win conditions as small agency vtubers.
