Like Ironmouse having Piratesoftware or Asmon on her talk show. It was bold to try, and that's always interesting, even when it doesn't work out. They were both pretty boring guests though and they both blew up their already not great reputations shortly after. Nyan and Aethel having their short arc with Tectone is similar. The best reading of it was they were networking their way into OTK, and didn't realize what kind of person Tectone actually was. The ambition itself is admirable even if lead them wrong in the specific case.
