People rightfully realize how embarrassing these posts are when they see them on twitter, but not when they see them on 4chan. It's like seeing it with a name on it makes it click how schizophrenic it is. When it's all anonymous you can dismiss the posts as potentially different people but when you see the name it finally sinks in that it's not.
