froot isn't extra progressive compared to other vtubers... her position is very much the norm for the demographic that vtubers is comprised of. it's just not obvious to people outside of that demographic because when vtubers express those opinions they get dogpiled and harassed for it so they don't usually bring it up unless directly asked
