Guys, you're missing the point of kpop just being a second coming of the boyband craze from the 90s. Gals have been thirstin over dude bands since barbershop quartets if we're honest, but the boyband craze was actually nuts. Literally I could tell you like 5 black bands like Boyz II Men, 112, and more at bare minimum, to say nothing of N'Sync, BB, and innumerable amounts. Ones who have their millenial fans still thirst over them today. But just like most entertainment, it fades into the overall social consciousness as generations change. Now, its kpop that has its era. Who knows, you could maybe have some Swedish boy bands take over the world next. Maybe mariachi bands have an era, we never know. But thirst is universal. Which is why its even more ironic that Stars fans decrying idol culture, don't really get that they're indulging in it. Or don't acknowledge it.
