How the FUCK do I transfer Bitcoin from Coinbase to Kraken?

My mother has a little bit of Bitcoin sitting on Coinbase that's been there for years and we're trying to transfer it to my Kraken account, and in a saga that's been going on for over a fucking month now I can't figure out how to do it.

I have a BTC deposit address on Kraken, I select to send from Coinbase, I put the address in,
"That is not a valid ETH address"
What the FUCK are you talking about? I'm not trying to send Ethereum, I have Bitcoin selected, but I'm smashing my face into a wall trying to figure out how to get it to let me just transfer this shit over.
