yes, surely satan is the good guy in this scenario for being the one to posit the idea of hurting you in the first place, and then actually acting upon it.
do you know why god is considered a "father"? because just like a good human father, god puts you in stressful situations to develop your strength and resolve, and then rewards you for overcoming said hardships. there are plenty of fathers in this world who keep their kids fat and happy and never expose them to reality, and those kids, without fail, become fucked up soulless retards. children are spoiled by never experiencing pain.
