Most people who claim this just want it to be true without putting in the work. They don't wany to learn about the historical or cultural contexts of the documents in question or become fluent enough to even understand the languages in which they were written. Instead what you will get is a shoot-and-scoot "deboonk" that would be dismissed in an academic setting. Even scholars like Bart Ehrman dilute their arguments to sell books even though they would never publish them in a scholsrly journal because they woild be called out by their colleagues.
