I ask myself the same thing
Always struggled falling asleep and, even without knowing about loa, my nightly ritual for a couple years was to imagine myself in bed between the same two women i could picture vividly from their faces and voices down to the feel of their skins
Needless to say it never happened for real
My cope for it not working (and therefore possibly working in the future) was that despite having a vivid imagination, I lack focus and wasn't trying to fill my mind with it exclusively
Also most of the time i ended up jacking off and thinking about other things after bussing
I think it's the difference neville talks about between futile daydreaming and actually doing the thing
