We are about to live in an era that will be remembered thousands of years from now. What comes in the next 15 years will completely change everyones lives forever. At least 20 major cities will be completely nuked. All of this could be avoided if people just gave a shit even a little but no one cares so it'll just happen and you will likely die as a result/spend the rest of your life contributing to the repair/or being enslaved by the ones you thought would never enslave you.
