Adam Lanza got what it felt to truly be anti-social. He referred to himself as a cultural philistine, that he didn't like the indoctrination of culture, to follow along society's paradigms. He sought to be truly free.
For many introverts, they still have a massive online presence that ends up being more social than extroverted normies. They get absorbed into dedicated fandoms and communities where they talk about content and share memes related to such content. These people will try to pass themselves off as being above normals, but they're more normified than normals.
The internet itself has become normified and highly social. It's not distant and isolated, it's poppified and centered around being an entertainment media-sharing pipeline. People listen to podcasts, watch youtube, play online games, post on twitter, 4chan, reddit, etc. Share gifs and reaction images.
People love to interact despite being apart and online. As though taking the extroverted world into the inner and keeping it on 24/7. People don't know how it feels to be truly alone anymore. Lonesomeness would do good for people. The 4chan hack would've helped with that. But God had other plans.
